Class #13 – Ash Bark Purse | WITHDRAWN

This scored and folded one piece bark basket is a worldwide Indigenous container still in use today. Prepare and split spruce roots to sew with, bend and split a red will branch for the inner and outer rim, try different stitching patterns. Each bark is unique. Braid a hemp cord strap. All materials are wild harvested by the teacher in the Northern Berkshire Mountains of Massachusetts, except the hemp cord.
