Class #31 – Ash Bark Trinket | Space Available
A Mokok is a container that is Indigenous to the Northeast Woodlands. It has a rectangular bottom and an oval top. You will sew ash bark with spruce roots that you will peel and prepare. The inner and outer rims are made from red willow that you will bend and split. You can try different stitching patterns. Learn about the harvesting of the materials, all from the wild and gathered by the teachers.
