Class #2 – Zennie

Zennie starts with an overlaid double cross base worked off of a jig so that the weaver spends time weaving and not chasing spokes. The base uses color, spoke count, and a design element called “becoming” to create an irresistible base. The sides use 4-rod wale to increase platter strength and a turquoise accent band to liven things up. The wrapped core border utilizes double spokes and finishes off this hard-working platter. “This baby is so strong it just may be considered a weapon.”
