Class #20 – Chair Cane Tote

Learn the challenging chair cane pattern done in 3-D! The basket begins by laying out the base flat on the table in a vertical and horizontal weave with natural spokes. Then the dyed diagonal weavers are added before upsetting the sides. On the sides, we will first weave in two parallel rows, then weave in the diagonals to lock the pattern in place. The handles are 18” leather. This basket is sure to stretch your weaving skills.
