This scored and folded one piece bark basket is a worldwide Indigenous container still in use today. Prepare and split spruce roots to sew with, split and bend a dogwood branch to form the inner and outer rim. Try different stitching patterns. Each bark is unique. Braid a hemp cord strap to make this rugged harvesting container.
