Class #52 – Triangular Sweetgrass

A new and interesting way to start a coiled basket: a multi-directional base. Using waxed linen, you will create a base with fragrant sweetgrass as the foundation. Students will learn how to add foundation and stitching maters as well as, shaping and adjusting stitches for the size of your basket. The finished basket can be decorated with a row of beads (optional) or a special bead from a piece of jewelry.
