Class #60 – Summer Breeze

The Summer Breeze Tote starts by inserting spokes into a wood, slotted base. Techniques include twining, start/stop weaving, continuous weaving, and the use of overlays. A pretty, blingy dragonfly adorns the front. The braided handles really set it off! The accent colors are gray, sky blue and periwinkle. The measurements are taken on the finished basket and do not include the handles. The handles are 12” long not including the hardware. Shaping will be emphasized! I recommend students bring glue for their spokes.
