Class #12 – Sculptural Seagrass | 6 LEFT

Students will begin this basket by plaiting a square base of flat reed. The sides are woven with both natural flat oval reed and fragrant seagrass and accented with glass beads. Students will learn how to control shaping and join the seagrass to create a continuous weaver. The excitement in this basket comes after you finish the lashing and reshape the rim.
