Class #2 -Stormy Weather

This fabulous purse begins on a flat back or race-track slotted base in oak. It features reed spokes, dyed Hamburg cane, and natural round reed weavers. The basket is woven in three-rod wale and the Japanese wave weave. It is finished with a long, braided leather shoulder strap. The oak base will be sanded and rubbed with polyurethane by the instructor prior to class. Students should know how to do a 3-rod wale.
