Class #64 – Black Velvet

This is an eye-catching oval reed basket that is woven on an ebony-stained ellipse base. Students will continuously weave a 7-spoke twill pattern, modifying the pattern to reverse the pattern midway to create a ‘zag’ look, and then complete their treasure with ebony dyed rim pieces.
