Class #9 – Dimi Jo
Using dyed #4 RR spokes and natural cane, students will weave a diminutive size of the Josephine Knot basket. Students will learn to ‘tie’ the Josephine Knot, be challenged to evenly shape the body of their basket and practice the turn-back technique during the fill of the body of the basket. There will be a choice of Class kits pre-prepared with 6 randomly selected spoke colors. Not all students will complete the weave of the body of their basket but will have all the needed material and instruction to do so.
