Class #11 – Rowan
The base for Rowan is worked off of an overlaid double cross jig. Once the spokes are secured, the jig goes away and the weaving begins. When the base is complete, additional spokes are added in a “Love Knot” fashion right before the upset. The sides explode with color and interest when “Chicken Feet” are woven in. The border quickly morphs from a rolled border into a Gretchen border into a border that pushes color on one side and strength on the other side. “Love knots and chicken feet make this a must-have for the poultry lover in your family.”
