Class #22 – Madweave Mat or Madweave Triangle (2 Days)

Learn to turn corners with Madweave as you create a triangular basket. The basket begins with a solid color Madweave mat, then three new colors are added to construct a 36 ribbon base. Three corners are added, and the remaining sides are joined to the corners. An additional ribbon row is woven in to make the three sides taller. Then the spaghetti mess of all of those ribbons is woven back into the basket. Your friends will be impressed! Get a good night’s sleep before class.

Note: The Madweave Mat is a prerequisite class for the Madweave Triangle Class

Class #3 – Mad Weave Makes You Crazy Mat (2 Days)

Stretch your brain learning Madweave. Madweave is woven in three directions using a 2 – 1 twill. This produces an optical illusion of three-dimensional blocks. You will enjoy this class if your brain thinks in patterns. You weave a flat 36 ribbon mat, learning how Madweave is constructed. Then the ends are tucked into the back of the base, creating a clean edge. You will receive materials to make two mats, but you will not finish both in this class. Get a good night’s sleep before class.
