Class #35 – Venetia Too

Venetia Too is a basket that uses traditional weaving techniques in different ways for a unique look. It starts with a 4” slotted acrylic bloom base and uses twining to secure the spokes. Chase weave with 4-rod wale and a twill weaver are worked up the side and topped by a 4-strand braid. The border combines a traditional core border with a crossover to add interest.
