Class #53 – Bird’s Nest Basket
This basket is created using round reed as spokes and twining soft rush over the spokes. The whole basket is twined. Cording will also be taught as an embellishment for the bird’s nest. The cording may be done with a lighter fiber such as Day Lily or Siberian Iris. If desired the student may attach a string (provided) to hand the next either inside or out.
